Assessment of the usability of the control shaft

A deep-rooted understanding of working conditions and iterative prototyping and testing in various situations made it possible for us to design an intuitive, ergonomic and stylish controller.

The Rocla product development team wanted to verify the usability and ergonomic properties of the controller with regard to an extensive user base, before ordering expensive moulds.

The controller was subjected to an expert evaluation, in which the usability of the product was assessed in relation to operating situations, safety, general usability and ergonomics. The product development team utilised the improvement proposals of the LINK evaluation report while completing the product.

The controller was awarded an honorary mention in the international Red Dot design competition.
