Metso Rotating Consistency Transmitter

The goal of this project was to develop an analysis device measuring the consistency of pulp. Two modular device versions using different rotating methods were designed, allowing the maximum amount of the same parts to be used, regardless of the drive mechanism. Users, a challenging operating environment and cost-efficiency were crucial factors in product development.

The end-result was a smaller, modular device, with optimised safety and simplicity of installation and maintenance.
