However, cooperating with us does not require you to use our partner network. If they so choose, customers can purchase our partners’ services directly from them. The Design Factory is a new type of product development, research and learning environment that is open to everyone. Design Factory is located in Otaniemi, Espoo, and it provides modern facilities for cooperation between researchers, students and companies. Design Factory promotes the revamp of the teaching and operating culture at Aalto University by supporting interdisciplinary, problem-oriented learning and research.
Design Factory is involved in a variety of fields, such as electrical technology and electronics, automation, architecture, mechanical engineering, material technology, information technology and industrial management. At Design Factory, the School of Art and Design is represented by textile and clothing design, industrial design and environmental art.
